The Cedar Grove High School band directed by Tom Paulson has the opportunity to play pep band music before a number of basketball games and wrestling meets. Performances occur after the junior varsity game and before the varsity game and before wrestling meets. The latest of which was on January 12 for the boy’s basketball game against Kohler. The band has used this opportunity to showcase their talents to all of those in attendance and to provide a musical performance for the players as they warm up. It is a great chance to hear your high school band and watch the game, so get there early.
Because of scheduling difficulties the band can only play at the events with the greatest number of band students able to come. This is why the band was not able to play for a volleyball game or a soccer game this school year. The pep band playing schedule goes as fallows: January 26th for the boy’s game against Elkhart Lake, February 5th for the girl’s game against Stockbridge, February 9th for the boy’s game against Random Lake, and the last one of the school year will be February 16th for the girl’s game against Elkhart Lake.
