Ms. Dreher

Cedar Grove-Belgium High School welcomed a new teacher this year, Danielle Dreher. Mrs. Schwabenlender retired this past year, and Ms. Dreher has taken over and is doing a wonderful job! Ms. Dreher was raised in Kewaskum and attended UW-Washington for two years after high school where she received her Associates Degree, and then partook in a semester at Marian University. In the winter of 2008, she moved to Stevens Point and attended school at UWSP with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences and an education license add-on. Before graduating in May 2011, she was a student teacher at Waupun High School and Kewaskum Middle School.

Ms. Dreher is ecstatic about her time at our school so far. She teaches an 8th grade class that comes to the high school, and Clothing I, Foods I and II, and Child Development for high school students. She is excited to find that “the staff and community in Cedar Grove-Belgium has been extremely supportive and helpful. The students too have been awesome! They are very excited in the classes they’re taking, and have already exceeded [her] expectations!” Ms. Dreher has been staying busy with organizing her curriculums and making her classroom the best learning environment possible. Kelly Hubing, a student in Ms. Dreher’s Child Development class, says that the classes that she teaches are proud to stay how much she is appreciated as a passionate educator; she interacts very well with the students and is cheerfully accepted into our school’s community.
